More about me!

I’m Lily Mills, Camp Counselor here at Wag + Wander Dog Camp! I have loved any and all kinds of animals for as long as I can remember.  I like to think that I learn a little something from each dog I care for, especially my personal dogs. My nervous rescue mutt, Ladybug, showed me how fascinating dog behavior can be and inspired me to get an education in dog training. My visually-impaired and deaf Great Dane mix, Bo, taught me so much about meeting each dog where they're at and adapting to fit the needs of a variety of canines. 

 

I have worked for various dog training facilities throughout New England. I was lead trainer for the Puppy Pre-K and Kindergarten programs at Vermont Dog Behavior. In my time there, I trained over 60 puppies and plenty of adult dogs.

In 2022, I started my business (under the name Paws + Play Pups) in Vermont. I spent over two years running dog camps which ignited my love for providing safe and structured off-leash excursions for dogs
